A Naming Ceremony is a unique way to welcome a child into the family and the wider community. It can be a wonderful celebration of the birth of a new child, or of an adoption.
It acknowledges the bonds that exist between the child, the extended family and friends. A Naming Ceremony offers parents, grandparents and other adults the opportunity to make promises to the child in a way that is meaningful and personal.
You will be able to discuss your exact requirements with the celebrant, who will meet you at your venue. A Naming Ceremony can be held anywhere and at any time. A celebrant can conduct a ceremony at any venue. Many families prefer to hold the ceremony at home and our celebrants are delighted to conduct a ceremony at your home, after an initial home visit.
Bespoke ceremonies can be created to reflect your exact wishes. You may wish to include a spiritual reference or incorporate a symbolic action, such as a planting, lighting a candle or a helium balloon release.
